Sigonella Sicily, 1987

I wanted to begin my life adventure early so I completed all of my requirements for High School early and joined the U.S. Navy at age 17. After completing boot camp I went to Port Hueneme in California to join the SeaBee’s. They are the military construction unit. After A school I was stationed in Gulfport Mississippi NMCB-74 and our first deployment was to Sigonella Sicily.
